Mean-Machine Super D-Class® Sound-Quality Amplifiers

Super D-Class® Benefits:

  • Fidelity Exceeds Conventional D-Class Amp Designs
  • 1-Ohm Impedance Stability
  • Less Energy / Current Needed From Vehicle Battery
  • Less Heat Compared to Other D-Class Amplifiers
  • High Damping Factor For Improved Bass Impact

1-Ohm Stability
Real 1-Ohm stability characteristics in a car audio amplifier are comparable to designing a car that can withstand a 30-mph head-on collision, without sustaining even a scratch! Electrically, a 1-Ohm speaker load for all practical argumentation is a “Shorted Circuit” to the amplifier. Remember this analogy when your new Autotek Super D-Class amplifier has been pounding your 1-Ohm load DVC subwoofers …all day… and is still cool to the touch! In addition, it may surprise you to learn, when speakers are reproducing sound, the speakers are constantly changing in their impedance load to the amp. This impedance fluctuation phenomenon is dependent on the frequency of sound being reproduced. Besides sound, a loudspeaker also generates a back electromotive force (EMF) that flows backward into the amplifier, which can affect the Noise Filter loop and cause distortion. Autotek's high-current low-output impedance MOSFETS absorb back electromotive forces generated by the speakers voice coil, which prevents intermodulation distortion! Autotek Super D-Class amplifier designs bring this kind of overkill amplifier engineering to you, at an affordable price.

Powered by Maxxsonics
Super D-Class® is the precise, high-current capable digital power supply control circuit exclusive to Maxxsonics, parent company of Autotek. The Evolution of Power begins with the Autotek Mean-Machine Super D-Class mono-block designs. Autotek engineers required all the Super D Class amplifiers to include the (TCID) Twin-Coil Isolation Design in the power supply. This Road Worthy™ (TCID) features extremely high current capacities and faster D to A conversion. Super D-Class digital amplifiers dramatically improve upon the sonics of traditional D-Class amplifiers. Super D Class also offers major “Current” efficiency improvements over other D-Class designs. This important advantage downsizes the amplifier heat sink requirements simply because 85%+ of the car battery energy is converted into audio instead of heat. By significantly reducing the heat, Autotek amplifiers achieve major power advantages without major compromises in audio quality.
