Autoteks Mean Machine subwoofers are dual illuminated. Not only will the MM opaque subwoofer cones light up, in addition, the Autotek logo bar positioned above it, illuminates too. To activate the cool glow, simply connect the Mean Machines subwoofer LED light pump circuit to any switch 12-Volt source. The illuminated MM subs are all Low-Q designs, meaning they are perfect for use in very small sealed & vented enclosures. The new MM Subs are available in a round 10, 12 and 15-inch sizes. All are dual voice-coil
designs. The 10-Inch & 12-Inch Mean Machine Subwoofer are available in both DVC 2-Ohm and DVC 4-Ohm configurations. The wiring configurations are endless with the Autotek DVC subwoofers.

 Mean Machine subwoofers start with powerful 100oz high-energy stacked magnets coupled to a nickel-plated extra-thick back-plate to focus all the amp?s energy within the speaker?s core. Four-layer hi-temp aluminum voice-coils take this magnetic energy and transfer it efficiently to the subwoofer cone. Next comes that all important spider assembly. Mean Machine subwoofers eliminate the most common form of failure for a subwoofer, the dreaded tinsel-lead failure. Our acoustical engineers implemented a Nomex one-piece tinsel-lead spider assembly. Why? Tinsel leads are the flexible wires joining the speaker terminals to the cone/voice-coil. Our engineers integrated these critical signal pathway wires inside the flexible spider material itself. This way, the tinsel wires are prevented from fatiguing from the massive cone vibrations. Reliability and Sound Quality, thats the Mean Machine Subwoofer Series.
