Brutus BXi Amplifier Series Produces More Audio Wattage with Less Battery Power, creating Overpowering Sound and Ultimate Power

LAS VEGAS, January 5, 2006 (2006 International CES, Booth #2401)—Maxxsonics, a leading mobile audio manufacturer and distributor, announced today the debut of its brutally powerful Hifonics Brutus BXi Amplifier Series. Redefining automotive audio, the Hifonics Brutus BXi Amplifier Series represents one of the most economical high amplification subwoofer amplifier systems available on the market.

Consisting of four high-powered automotive amplifiers, the Hifonics Brutus BXi Series provides sound addicts with up to 2000 watts of pure audio power. The Brutus BXi Amplifier Series includes:

• The Brutus BXi 606, a 600-WRMS @ 1-Ohm Mono-Block Amplifier
• The Brutus BXi 1206D, a 1200-WRMS @ 1-Ohm Mono-Block Amplifier
• The Brutus BXi 1606D, a 1600-WRMS @ 1-Ohm Mono-Block Amplifier
• The Brutus BXi 2006D, a monstrous 2000-WRMS @ 1-Ohm Mono-Block Amplifier

Additionally, all amplifiers in Hifonics Brutus BXi Series allow users to choose whether to run their systems at 1, 2, or 4-Ohms. Fully adjustable Accu-Cross low-pass crossovers provide customizable sound with today’s wide range of subwoofers.

Three of the four Hifonics Brutus BXi Amplifiers feature Maxxsonics’ patented “Super D-Class” grade microprocessors that result in lower battery current requirements than comparable competitor’s amplifiers. Super D-Class microprocessors reduce audio distortion, allow batteries to produce more wattage with less current drain, and produce clear, crisp sound even at the highest listening levels.
