MB Quart’s New EXP Speaker Series

January 1, 2007 - Chicago, IL. , Maxxsonics USA Inc. is pleased to announce the release of over thirty new MB QUART mobile speaker products including new and improved versions of the popular Discus, Reference and Premium Series speakers.

The newest MB Quart “Designed and Engineered entry-level speaker family is the all-new EXP Series. EXP represents the lowest price MB QUART speaker series produced to date. But don’t let the low price fool you. The new EXP speakers are packed with performance and value, making them a definite best-in-class contender.

The EXP mid-bass uses a heavy-gauge deep-drawn stamped steel basket mated to the same legendary voice-coil, spider assembly, PolyComp cone and MB Quart surround design used on other popular and more expensive MB QUART models. Like more the expensive MB Quart speaker models, EXP’s tinsel-leads are mounted on opposing ends of the speaker cone ensuring proper cone balance and predictable long-term performance.

Each EXP speaker system uses a more efficient version of the famous MB Quart 1” titanium dome tweeter. This improved efficiency titanium dome tweeter allows the new MB Quart EXP speakers to perform exceptionally well when powered by the typical aftermarket or OEM stereo. Each EXP system includes a full-featured 12dB/Octave passive crossover network with the same level of crossover adjustment found in the higher-end MB Quart speakers such as the Discus and Reference Series speakers.
