The New 2007 MB Quart Premium Full-Range Speaker Intro’s

January 1, 2007 - Chicago, IL. , Maxxsonics USA Inc. is proud to announce release of over thirty new MB QUART loudspeaker products including an all-new Premium Series. Past generations of the MB QUART Premium Series set the standard for affordable high-end performance. The new version raises the performance bar even higher.

The updated Premium Series features the company’s newest iteration of the ABS composite BTT speaker basket design, allowing for increased cooling of the speakers motor assembly along with a substantially larger spider than what’s typically found on a small speaker. The “Plus” Coaxial design allows these speakers to be used in both component and coaxial configuration providing more useable applications for an already easy to install product.

The tweeter represents a quantum leap in transducer technology. By coupling an inverted titanium dome and nylon composite surround to an efficient encapsulated motor structure, the engineering team has effectively improved linearity and power handling. “This tweeter is the best sounding we have ever built,” states Iradj Morrier, Senior Engineer and project leader.

A FleXXmount™ crossover rounds out the system. This crossover design allows the installer to mount it in nearly any position through the use of removable and replaceable mounting feet. The crossover also features advanced controls that allow the user to custom tailor the sound to their liking.
