The Premium Series subwoofers feature a unique cone and voice-coil reinforcement mechanism that effectively dissipates the stress load between the cone and voice-coil across the entire cone, greatly decreasing the chances of cone separation. The cone is mated to a 1-inch tall narrow surround that offers enhanced excursion capabilities without sacrificing valuable surface area on the speaker cone. Wiring connections are a snap with the integrated series / parallel wire terminal. This unique design places all connections on one end of the woofer for a cleaner and simpler installation. Each of the new MB QUART Premium Series subwoofers were developed using the latest (FEA) finite element analysis software ensuring the highest levels of performance available.
