MB Quart Zurich Series Custom Install Speakers
Unique Depth Reduction Feature

Chicago, IL (Jan 1, 2008) Maxxsonics USA Inc, parent corporation of MB Quart, a German based premier manufacturer of high performance loudspeakers will preview its’ MB Quart Zurich Series of value-driven in-wall and in-ceiling loudspeakers systems at the International CES 20.  The Zurich Series loudspeakers are part of the largest home audio new product introduction in MB Quart’s 43-year history.  MB Quart’s Zurich Series loudspeakers are among the first new MB Quart home theater speakers to be introduced since MB Quart’s acquisition by Maxxsonics.

MB Quart’s new depth reducing, enclosed-back, in-wall and in-ceiling Zurich speakers are comprised of unique in-wall and in-ceiling audio solutions for custom built-in home-theater systems.  The Zurich in-wall and in-ceiling series comprises just five models of in-wall and in-ceiling designs positioned at the opposite end of the spectrum of the MB Quart Alexxa Series home theater loudspeakers.  The new Zurich Series offer upgrade sound-quality, high-efficiency, ultimate installation flexibility and considerable value. Custom installers have the unique problem solving flexibility of being able to actually reduce the Zurich Series in-wall and in-ceiling speakers mounting depths whenever obstructions are discovered during installation.  This time saving, problem curing, depth reduction feature of these in-wall and in-ceiling speakers is accomplished by utilizing a removable section of the Zurich Series back-box enclosure.

MB Quart Zurich Series products are top-performing yet value driven two-way in-wall and in-ceiling speaker systems featuring paint-able grille and frame assemblies and unique removable back, depth-reducing enclosures.  Available in 5-¼”, and 6-½ -inch designs, the new in-wall Zurich ZUR5.25 IW is $169.95 MSRP each, the larger Zurich ZUR6.25 IW is $189.95 each MSRP.  The Zurich in-walls offer swivel mounted tweeters.

The installer friendly Zurich Series custom install loudspeakers are the entry level designs of MB Quart’s new custom installation home theater line-up.  MB Quart’s custom install Zurich Series in-wall and in-ceiling speaker systems feature titanium dome tweeters.  Zurich in-wall and in-ceiling speaker tweeters can be aimed towards the given listening area to improve the sonic imagery.

MB Quart’s Zurich Series in-ceiling speakers also feature MB Quart’s titanium dome tweeter designs in a tilting post mount design. The new In-Zurich ceiling speakers also feature paint-able grille / frame assemblies.  Available in 5-¼”, 6-½ -inch, and a Dual-Mono DVC 6-½ -inch in-ceiling designs, the new Zurich in-ceiling ZUR 5.25 IC is $169.95 MSRP each, the Zurich ZUR 6.25 IC is $149.95 each MSRP, and the single-point stereo solution, the Dual-Mono Zurich ZUR 6.25 ICDM is $229.95 each MSRP.
