Maxxsonics Host 3x SPL Events June 24th

Lake Zurich, IL. – Maxxsonics USA Inc. will host and sponsor its' first ever annual SPL competition event at the company's new 60,000 sq. ft. international corporate facility on June 24th and 25th, 2006. Alden Stiefel, CEO and President of Maxxsonics USA Inc, parent company to MB Quart, Hifonics, Autotek and Crunch car audio brands announced today. This Maxxsonics Car Audio Showdown competition event will be the first public viewing for the company's modern and new corporate nerve center.

The Maxxsonics SPL & SQ events feature multiple competitions in both MECA and dB Drag sanctioned event classes. Veteran officials from both MECA and dB Drags will be judging the sound-off events starting Saturday June 24th, 2006 with finals for MECA SPL and SQL events the same day and dB Drag final events on ending Sunday June 25th, 2006. Hundreds of competitors from across the USA are expected to compete in the SQL (Sound Quality League) and SPL (Sound Pressure League) triple-point (3x) contests. Over 186 trophies will be awarded during the two-day Powered by Maxxsonics Car Audio Showdown. Many world record-holders, previous and current US record-holders are expected to attend this triple-point awarding event, in order to earn a slot in both organizations World Finals this Fall.

Maxxsonics Car Audio Showdown 2006 has additional activities planned for everyone. Among the many activities will be factory direct warehouse sales for all Maxxsonics brands including MB Quart, Hifonics, Autotek and Crunch. Concessions will be available on premise from various local food vendors enabling uninterrupted all-day attendance. Raffles, various prizes and giveaways will add to the event excitement each day. Spectators will experience the thrill of multiple Bass Races, RTA Freq Outs, and dB Drags of various power classes. Awards for sound quality and the best car audio installation round out this first time ever Maxxsonics event.

For those not able to attend the Maxxsonics Car Audio Showdown, cameramen from dBTV, the video arm of the dB Drags website will be webcasting the sound-off events both days at www.dbdragracing.com Contestants will start at 8:00 AM Saturday June 24th at Maxxsonics USA Inc. located at 1290 Ensell Rd. Lake Zurich, IL. 60047, a small northwestern suburb of Chicago, Illinois.
