Team Maxxsonics Dominates With Over 280 First-Place Wins

Chicago, IL. October 13, 2006, Maxxsonics USA Inc. In 2007 the dominating competitors on the SPL scene has clearly been Team Maxxsonics, who in their second season on the SPL competition circuit, have greatly exceeded their impressive 2006 winning totals. Previously in 2006, Team Maxxsonics racked up a total of 145 first-place wins in SPL competitions country-wide but in 2007 prior to the dB Drag World Finals, Team Maxxsonics has brought home over 280 First-Place trophies making 2007 their most successful competition year yet.

“Considering the 2006 sound-off season is not quite over yet, we expect Team Maxxsonics to more than double their previous winning totals”, offers John Studley, Maxxsonics Vice President of Global Product Development. “Team Maxxsonics members have a competitive spirit second to none. This group of young men and women’s can be very proud of their accomplishments,” said Maxxsonics CEO, Alden Stiefel. “Team Maxxsonics members continue to show there is a fun way to enjoy these mega-watts car audio systems while exhibiting constructive and responsible behavior to the public”, Stiefel adds. 2005 was the first year Maxxsonics USA sponsored an SPL team. This unique team was the vision of Maxxsonics John Studley, whose goal was to have SPL team members compete freely, without minimum attendance requirements and without the obligations commonly handed down by other corporate sponsors. Team Maxxsonics members will be competing at the 2006 dB Drag World Finals, held in Nashville, Tennessee October 13 – 15, 2006.

By end September 2006, Team Maxxsonics members have accumulated 280 First-Place Trophies, 87 second-place and 39 third-place trophies. And among these honors Team Maxxsonics members captured an additional 7-World SPL records, 9-USA SPL records and 8-State level SPL records going into the conclusion of the SPL season at the MECA & dB Drag World Finals.
