Team Maxxsonics Posts Over 282 First-Place Season Wins

Chicago, IL. October 24, 2006, Maxxsonics USA Inc. In 2006 the dominating competitors on the SPL scene has clearly been Team Maxxsonics, who in their second season on the SPL competition circuit, have greatly exceeded their impressive 2005 winning totals. In 2005, Team Maxxsonics racked up a total of 145 first-place wins in SPL competitions country-wide but in 2006 just prior to the dB Drag World Finals, Team Maxxsonics has brought home over 280 First-Place trophies making 2006 their most successful competition year yet. Team Maxxsonics continued this winning streak during the 2006 dB Drag World Finals

“Before the 2006 dB Drag World Finals the sound-off season was not quite over yet, so we knew Team Maxxsonics had a chance to almost double their previous 2005 winning totals and we were not disappointed”, offers John Studley, Maxxsonics Vice President of Global Product Development. “Team Maxxsonics members have a competitive spirit second to none. This group of young men and women’s can be very proud of their accomplishments,” said Maxxsonics CEO, Alden Stiefel. “Team Maxxsonics members continue to show there is a fun way to enjoy these mega-watts car audio systems while exhibiting constructive and responsible behavior to the public”, Stiefel adds. “2005 was the first year Maxxsonics USA sponsored an SPL team”.

By end September 2006, Team Maxxsonics members have accumulated 280 First-Place Trophies, 87 second-place and 39 third-place trophies. And among these honors Team Maxxsonics members captured an additional 7-World SPL records, 9-USA SPL records and 8-State level SPL records going into the conclusion of the SPL season at the MECA & dB Drag World Finals.

Note worthy are the accomplishments of the following Team Maxxsonics members. Danny Britain, a two-time dB Drags World title holder who registered 164.9 dB using four Hifonics 5000-watt XX-Goliath amplifiers, along with Mark Holbrook, who holds Kentucky states X-2 SPL record, accomplished during a 3X MECA event in Casper, KY. During the 2006 Spring Break Nationals, Mark Holbrook broke the US SPL dB Drag record in the Ext-1 class by raising the roofs with an incredible 171.5dB SPL . Next is Team Maxxsonics member Jason Bullock, the former MECA 4-times World Campion & 4-times World Record holder, who is Tennesee’s MECA State record holder with a 156.5 dB SPL, using two 4000-watt Autotek amplifiers. dB Drag’s 3rd Place 2006 Point Champion, Jason Thomson who proved just how efficient Maxxsonics Super D-Class amplifier technology is by hitting a tremendous 156.4dB SPL, using two 4000-Watt Autotek MM 4000.1D amplifiers whose only power source was a “single” car battery.

At dB Drag World Finals Team Maxxsonics was a major factor to contend with. Their force with obvious in almost every category. Team Maxxsonics Kevin Koller and Steven Ignacek resoundly took dB Drags World Finals 1st Place in their respective sound-off categories.
