Maxxsonics’ Car Audio 101 Video Covers the Basics of the Big 3

Chicago, IL August 27, 2009 – Whether you’re a car audio expert or just starting out, sometimes it’s the basics that will create some of the most significant problems requiring extra time and a scramble for more cash.

In 2006, Maxxsonics’ Product Development Specialist and three time dB Drag World Finalist, Mike Stiers, responded by writing “Back to Basics – Car Audio 101.” With straight-forward content focusing on the impact of an existing factory electrical system, this hands-on article quickly became a popular read for anyone considering new audio equipment.

Most recently, Mike turned his script into an instructional video with a step-by-step demonstration on upgrading what he likes to call “The Big 3.” In this video, Mike shows how to replace three essential wires under the hood of the vehicle with insulated 0 gauge wire.

Back to Basics – Car Audio 101 is just one in a series of tutorials from Maxxsonics. Future videos will focus on the battery and the alternator helping even the most novice installer turn factory electrical equipment into safe, effective and efficient systems for the ultimate in car stereo sound.
