Autotek New Super D-Class Amps
Chicago, IL. – Autotek announces the new family of 2005 Mean Machine Super D-Class™ subwoofer amplifiers. This is the first Autotek amplifier series to feature Super D-Class topography. The new Mean Machine amp line-up continues the Autotek reputation for a euro-classy amplifier profile.
Autotek who was recently purchased by Maxxsonics, intro-ed the new foursome of Mean Machine Super D-Class™ car amplifiers at the 2005CES (booth #2413). The Super D-Class™ Mean Machine Amplifier Series intro celebrates Autotek's 27-years as car audio manufacturer. The new mono-block models range in power levels from 1000-Watts x 1 to 2000-Watts x 2 @ 1-Ohm speaker loads. The Super D-Class™ design benefits this new amp series with improved sound quality and more affordable hi-power. Mean Machine cosmetics; electronic crossovers and massive power make them a great addition for any serious car audio system. The new 2005 Mean Machine amp models will ship to dealers shortly after the 2005 CES event. 2005 Mean Machine models will include dash mountable remote bass controls.
"The new Autotek Mean Machine amplifiers are a great example of our product goals for Autotek going forward," offered Alden Stiefel, Maxxsonics USA, Inc. CEO & President. "Autotek amps will benefit from Maxxsonics Super D-Class technology." "Autotek has always used the best technology & components available. So it was a natural to use Super D-Class to give Autotek the most reliable 1-Ohm Stable high-output amplifier design possible." adds John Studley, Maxxsonics Director of Product Development.
The new Mean Machine amp line-up sports a large illuminated Autotek logo and shroud over the top of the heat sinks. The Road Worthy© TCID twin-coil isolation design PWM power supply ensures 1-Ohm stability along with the Super D-Class™ hi-speed microprocessor. Conventional PWM power supplies result in less power and lower performance, and thereby limit the sound quality of conventional D-Class amplifiers. Super D-Class™ is a high-speed digital control that overcomes the limitations of common digital switching power supply. Super D-Class™ is what differentiates Autotek D-Class amplifiers from other car audio amplifiers.
