Crunch USA's Shining Subwoofer Creation

Chicago, IL - Maxxsonics proudly announces the introduction of the new DVC Ground Pounder illuminated subwoofer line-up! The Ground Pounder Series feature titanium composite PP woofer cones crowned with the new series Ground Pounder LED illuminated dust caps.

Ground Pounder Series Subwoofers feature a Low-Q design to enable small hi-output subwoofer enclosures. GP subwoofers titanium coated molded PP cones house an LED backlit inverted opaque blue Kevlar dust cap. The Ground Pounder Low-Q subs also include jet black frames, 100oz magnet assemblies and 4-layer DVC configurations. Tinsel leads are integrated into the subwoofer spider assembly making the Ground Pounder Subwoofer Series one of the most reliable subwoofer line-ups. Tinsel lead breakage is common on conventional subwoofer designs due to the fatique and mechanical stress encountered during extreme bass reproduction. The Ground Pounder integrated tinsel-lead spider assembly eliminates the long and delicate cone wires used by other manufacturers.

All Ground Pounder Series Subwoofers offer an extra-wide thermally stable 1.2" rubber surrounds, injection molded titanium & polypropylene cones, large push & insert terminals and motor assemblies consisting of double-stacked 100oz. magnets. The Ground Pounders resilient surround material provides incredible excursion for the composite cone. The Ground Pounders T/.S parameters allow for extra-deep, ground pounding bass in either sealed or ported enclosures. Most Ground Pounder subwoofers are available in Dual 2-Ohm and Dual 4-Ohm voice-coils configuration. The 15-inch model, the GP15D2 is available solely in a dual 2-Ohm VC configuration. The GP multi- impedance 2.5" voice-coil design permits a wide range of electrical loads at the amplifiers speaker terminals permitting low-impedance-capable amplifiers to dump every ounce of wattage their design allows.
