Hifonics New Radiant Subwoofers
Chicago, IL - Maxxsonics proudly announces the release of the new Brutus illuminated subwoofer line-up! The Hifonics Brutus Series boast a fully illuminated woofer cone topped off with the new series Brutus dust caps.
"Our Brutus Subwoofers emit a huge blue glowing image via the LED backlit opaque woven glass and fiber speaker cones," explained John Whitacre, Director of Marketing for Maxxsonics. Whitacre adds, "The Brutus subs are all Low-Q drivers that include chromed frames, 100oz magnet assemblies and 4-layer DVC configurations. The "full cone" blue LED illumination makes the Brutus Subwoofer Series one of the most head-turning subwoofer line-ups on the market. Beauty without outstanding bass performance simply is not allowed at Hifonics. Only a subwoofer's design with extreme product quality & craftsmanship makes the grade to carry the Hifonics brand."
All Brutus Series Subwoofers offer an extra-wide thermally stable rubber surrounds, translucent woven glass-Fiber woofer cone, large push & insert terminals and motor assemblies consisting of double-stacked magnets. The Brutus rubber surround provides incredible excursion for the glass-fiber cone while providing extra-deep bass for ground pounding in either sealed or ported boxes. Most Brutus subwoofers are available in Dual 2-Ohm and Dual 4-Ohm voice-coils configuration. The 15-inch model, BX15D2 is available solely in a dual 2-Ohm VC version. A unique front gasket design conceals the heads of subwoofer's mounting screws. Optional Chrome anti-resonant grilles are available for the Brutus Subwoofer Series.
The 12" round version of the Brutus Subwoofer utilizes a 600-Watt 2.5" Hi-temp voice-coil and the Brutus 10" subwoofer boosts a 600-Watt voice-coil. The both 10" & 12" Brutus subwoofers have twin brothers in a dual 4-Ohm voice-coil version.
