Maxxsonics Names Vincent De Stefano
Dec 16, 2004, Chicago, IL.– Maxxsonics USA, Inc. has named Vincent De Stefano as Director of Sales for Maxxsonics. De Stefano's primary sales focus will be with Autotek, the newest and most recent corporate acquisition of Maxxsonics. De Stefano joins the sales team headed by Ted Henricks, Maxxsonics Vice-President of Sales and Marketing, in this newly created position.
Alden Stiefel, Maxxsonics' CEO, said, "The hiring of Vincent De Stefano is the first step in the vitalization of Autotek. Vinnie brings a vast record of success with independent installing auto sound retailers." I‘m confident Vinnie will step-up the positive momentum we are creating with our acquisition of Autotek. We invite all Autotek Dealers to meet Vinnie at the Autotek booth during the 2005 CES in Las Vegas, Jan 6 – Jan 9th 2005.
Stiefel adds, "The signing of Vincent De Stefano is a clear message that Maxxsonics is investing in both people and new technology for the benefit of Autotek Dealers. Autotek has a long history of having the "Right Stuff" for their dealers. Vinnie's sales philosophy blends perfectly with Autotek's history of providing the installing dealer with full service. Vinnie has a proven track record with the Independent Dealer base.
Vincent De Stefano has over 25 years of industry experience, which include stints as Vice President of Crossfire Car Audio, National Sales Manager of Eclipse and most recently served as General Sales Manager for Dynamic Control. De Stefano added, "This is a great opportunity and I am very excited. I understand the challenges facing the Specialty Retailers market and the opportunities their full support will provide to Autotek. My forward strategy is to offer the Autotek dealers personal service and support second to none in our industry. I am confident this is an achievable target with the Maxxsonics team backing me. I have worked with many members of the Maxxsonics team and they are a first rate crew. I am looking forward to working closely with the Autotek dealers and the rep firms who serve them. My goal is to ensure that they all realize the profit potential the Autotek brand will deliver in the years to come".
Ted Henricks, Maxxsonics VP of Sales offers, "Vincent De Stefano is a bit of a legend in the Auto Sound Industry and can help us grow Autotek. I see his immense enthusiasm for the independent retail sales channel and have confidence Autotek dealers will benefit greatly. Vinnie is just the first positive indicator of what we are doing with Autotek". Autotek was founded in 1977 by Sid Schieber, and was most recently acquired by Maxxsonics USA Inc. in December, 2004.
