Maxxsonics to Sponsor the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training®
Consumer electronics professional, Bob Trench, rides to raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
August 24th, 2005, Chicago, IL. – Maxxsonics USA, Inc. has become a corporate sponsor of Bob Trench in the El Tour De Tucson Bike Ride for Team In Training®. All sponsorship funds will go to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training® Program.
"I have known and worked with Bob Trench, a blood cancer survivor, for more than 10 years”, says Alden Stiefel, Maxxsonics President & CEO of Maxxsonics. Mr. Stiefel continues, "The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is a non-profit that is very close to my heart. The fact that Mr. Trench has survived cancer and has gone on to commit himself to training and raising money for the society is a mission Maxxsonics openly supports.” El Tour De Tucson Bike Ride takes place on November 22nd in Tucson, Arizona. Over 7000 riders will compete in this event.
About Bob Trench
Bob Trench was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 1986. After not being able to work out for over 18 years, he began training in March of 2005 for El Tour De Tucson Bike Ride. He is blogging his experience with Team in Training at http://tnt.32f.com
Mr. Trench has worked in the consumer electronics industry as a marketing communication expert for over 21 years. In 1995 he started the consumer electronics focused ad agency, Fahrenheit, and has worked with CE clients including Maxxsonics, Philips, Avital, Clifford , GM, Bel Canto, 3M, Best Buy, Target Stores and others.
